Jan retired from Georgia Power Company in 2013 after 39 years in various leadership roles throughout the state, from Comptroller to Fleet Manager to Distribution Manager to Area Manager. During her tenure as Area Manager in Newnan, GA, Jan chaired the Newnan Coweta Chamber of Commerce instituting a new budgeting process that allowed the chamber to weather revenue volatility. While serving the chamber, Jan, along with 2 other business associates, founded the Business Women’s Golf League – a league focused on empowering, inspiring, growing, and connecting women through golf. Jan served as chair of the board for 5 years for Coweta County’s Central Education Center, Georgia’s first Career Academy as well as chairing the board of the Coweta County United Way and leading the campaign for 3 years. Each year under her leadership, the campaign surpassed all previous years in dollars raised. After 6 years, Jan continues her service as member of the board of the Development Authority of Coweta County. After retiring, Jan partnered with two friends to start a business, YEP, Your Events and Promotions. Currently, Jan is in her second year as the General Manager of Newnan Country Club. Jan is a member of several local and statewide golf organizations, the Newnan Country Club Ladies Golf Association, Business Women’s Golf League, Mid GA Women’s Golf Association, and the Georgia Women’s Golf Association. Jan serves on the executive committee of the Georgia Women’s Golf Association. She loves golf, however, professes she’s not very good. Her family, son, Brad, and daughter-in-law, Elaine, live in Newnan and daughter, Brandi, son-in-law, Mike, grandchildren, Angel, Thomas, Jeffrey, and Kennsey live in Flowery Branch, GA. Jan earned a business degree from Mercer University.
Golf Course Superintendent
Andy Scott began his career in the golf business in 2000 as an intern at Gettysvue Country Club in Knoxville, Tn. In 2003 he graduated from The University of Tennessee with a BS in Plant and Soil Science. Upon graduation he accepted an assistant superintendent position at The Trophy Club of Atlanta in Alpharetta, Ga., where he worked for 8 years. Andy accepted the position of Golf Course Superintendent and has been at Newnan Country Club since April 2011. Andy has been married to Heather, his high school sweetheart since 2000 and they have 2 children, Thomas and Molly. Hobbies include golf, hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his family.

My name is Dano Korytoski and I am the Head Professional here at Newnan Country Club. I was born in Northampton Massachusetts and Graduated from Mississippi State University in 1994 from the Professional Golf Management program with a bachelor’s degree in business marketing. I knew in seventh grade, my path was to be a Golf Professional in Georgia and moved to Newnan Georgia in May of 1994 to start my career at Orchard Hills GC. Orchard Hills closed in December 2016, and I’m blessed to have had the opportunity to join the staff here at Newnan Country Club. I now consider Newnan my home along with my wife Chelle and my son Gabriel.
Executive Chef & F&B Manager
Raised in a family that reveled in the experience of food, the shopping, preparation, and “coming together” to share a great meal in Brooklyn, New York. Chef Lance F. Jeffers Jr. has been working in restaurant kitchens since the age of 12. This has always been his passion, and is the force that drives him. Chef Lance attended the Culinary Institute of America (1977-1979) and went on to graduate from Mercer University in 1988. He then apprenticed at the Quilted Giraffe in New York City and the Midnight Sun in Atlanta. He has held positions as a Banquet Chef at the Atlanta Airport Marriott, Executive Chef at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Buckhead, Executive Chef at the Marriott Hotel in Norcross, as Executive chef at Jennings Mill Country Club in Bogart, Ga, Food & Beverage director and executive chef at Coweta Club, in Newnan, Georgia. Lance is currently the Food & Beverage director and executive chef at Newnan Country Club in Newnan, Georgia. In addition to his role as NCC Chef Lance also is Adjunct Instructor in the Culinary Arts Program at West Ga Technical College.
