Newnan Country Club Swimming Pool Rules

  1. Newnan Country Club Pool Hours of Operation
    1. Tuesday through Sunday 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
    2. Monday 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (pool maintenance and chemical application prohibiting bathers prior to 3:00 p.m.)
  2. Unaccompanied minors (under age 18) will be asked to the leave the pool when lifeguards are not present.
  3. Any time you are in the pool, with or without lifeguards present, you are swimming at your own risk.
  4. Lifeguards will have complete charge of the pool area and authority to enforce ALL rules, to include temporary suspension of pool participation privileges. Lifeguards or NCC Staff Members will fill out a discipline sheet on members’ children for Board review. It will not be necessary for the lifeguards or NCC Staff Members to discuss this with members or their children prior to entry of the report.
  5. Children in diapers must wear watertight pants or swim diapers.
  6. Children under twelve (12) years of age must be accompanied by an adult who remains at the pool.
  7. Lifeguards are not hired to babysit. PLEASE DO NOT ASK THEM.
  8. Put all trash in containers.
  9. Although provisions for the safety of bathers have been provided, the Club assumes no responsibility for the safety of anyone using the pool or its facilities.
  10. No one wearing a bathing suit is permitted in any part of the clubhouse except in the pool area. You must be dry, covered and wearing shoes to enter the clubhouse. No cut-offs, shorts not designed for water wear, or visible underwear permitted in or around the pool area.
  11. No horseplay. Examples include but are not limited to:
    1. No running
    2. No diving in shallow water
    3. No games in the deep end while someone is using the diving board
  12. Fifteen (15) minute breaks at fifteen (15) until the hour will be observed for adult swim. Parents may use this time to swim with their toddler.
  13. Members shall be responsible for the conduct of their guests.
  14. Dogs or other pets are not permitted in the pool area.
  15. Only one (1) person will be allowed on the diving board at a time.
  16. No outside food or beverages can be brought onto Club property, except for Mondays when the Grill Room is closed.  Members in violation of this rule may be subject to a fine.
  17. All private parties at the pool must be cleared and coordinated through the Club’s Food and Beverage Manager. Appropriate fees and charges will be arranged.
  18. Babysitters of club members must be at least sixteen (16) years of age and have adequate swimming ability. Members must register the names of those non-member babysitters with the office prior to attendance at the pool, and give written permission upon registering babysitters as to the use of the member’s charge account.
  19. No loud music permitted from anyone on Club grounds.
  20. Smoking and electronic cigarettes are prohibited within the fenced area of the pool.
  21. Please lower umbrellas when not in use.
  22. The NCC pool is for member use.  NCC members may bring guests any day the pool is open, provided they follow registration guidelines and these guests have been authorized by an adult member.  A $5.00 fee will be applied to the member’s account for each guest.

Please help us keep the pool clean by throwing away your trash.
